I watched Jaws today and I will say, I think it was better than the book. The book had a lot of boring nonsense that was very unimportant. In the movie and in the book there was a lot of similarities; the plot, the way the characters were portrayed, setting, and the visual aspect of it. The plot consisted of Martin Brody, the main character who is the police chief of Amity, responds to a missing person case and ends up finding the dead body of the missing person who appears to be killed by a shark attack. The plot goes on as two more people die and Martin, Hooper, and Quint go out on a boat in an effort to kill the shark, they kill the shark on third day and Quint ends up dying.

The characters in Jaws were portrayed exactly how I saw them. Martin Brody was described as an easy going guy that doesn't get angry a lot but when he does he gets super angry. Roy Scheider played this part very well. Roy Scheider has also been apart of many films, some of which include The Deer Hunter, Marathon Man, and All that Jazz. The director of Jaws was Steven Spielberg, the films he been apart of are countless, some include; Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, The Adventures of Tintin, War Horse, and many others.

You thought your movie was better than the book too? I liked the movie version of Forrest Gump because i feel like i understood the story better and it was more interesting to me. The book was kinda hard to understand what Forrest was trying to say because he spelled a lot of words wrong in the book so it was difficult for him to get his point across.
